Is it worth competing at TOTB 2010?

Is it worth competing at TOTB 2010?
I know this is daft question, but do you think my car would be too embarrasing to compete or should i give it a go?
2001 UK300 PPP
Full engine rebuild by scoobytecknix (not forged) installed June/July 2009
Sti Pink injectors
Sti tmic, still to source.
VF30 turbo
Complete 3" decat exhaust & sti up pipe.
Walbro
Standard induction (green panel filter)
5 Speed WRX box with Exedy clutch and lightend flywheel
Brembos, but yet to source.
17" light wheels and silverstone road legal cut slicks
Suspension factory set up, may fettle it subject to £££.
Im not planning on throwing any more money on the car as it was an accidental project. I bought the car with a blown crank and spending 4k on it wasnt the plan, but you just cant help yourself can you!!
Its just been mapped, but I got conned on fleabay with the sti intercooler so i couldnt make the power i was hoping for. In the next few week it will be running somehwere close to 340-350bhp and maybe 330+lb torque when i get the sti tmic sourced and fitted.
I will probably sell it next year and start over with a better donor car, but this year im sticking with it and putting the pennies in the bank rather than in this car..... so what do you think:
Embarrasment or Enjoyment?
Open to any constructive criticism

TOTB is limited to the top 10 cars of each marque (IIRC)
You'd be better off doing the Scooby Sprint / Scooby Shootout instead.
(although that may have been what you were thinking of)

As above im only wanting to have a go.... Unlike hill climbs and others circuits at least i can give it the beans here and the risk mainly is the engine & transmission failing, whereas hillclimbs etc there is plenty trees to unbottle the nerve...
At the end of the day the car is my road car and i have no intention of spending any more money on it, the car isnt a working art as the model albeit it is nice looking to me is not the right core car, so this in mind I will be starting over with something else soon....
So what do you thnk now?

I cannot understand why on the dvd 3 years ago the narrator spoke of anyone with a few grands worth of car to racing preapred cars can enter... hence this is the guy that got in the boot of one car as it raced around the circuit!!!!! the idiot!
Anyway I have joined the Sprint website too

totb used to be an invitation only event for road cars, that were taxed, insured, mot'd and run on pump fuel. chris mann i believe has sold the rights to straightliners and i have a feeling it will be a case of anyone can enter this year. £90 is a lot for what is basicically a RWYB event.
better sticking to scooby shootout. at least you might be able to win your class.

Ive watched it live now for 5 years, and each time i keep thinking to myself, surely I could do this.
The £90 side of things isnt expensive in my eyes, I mean last year there was only myself and a pal who went to watch, the cost of £20 per entry I found extortionate, but then thats £40 for the pair of us, so thats only an extra £50 to compete which doesnt sound expensive if im going anyway whether it be competing or spectating .
I still appreciate everyones input, and as im going on to Scoobyteknix on Wednesday i'll ask them for their opinion too

In the nicest possible way (ie don't take offence) Ten Of The Best should be exactly that..... ten of the best of each marque.
If it turns into a RWYB day i'll ruin a great event.
There are already enough RWYB, TOTB should be kept as a one off special each year for the top few % of the tuned cars.
All IMO of course

Tracks days are great.... but very addictive!!!
Looking at your location i assume Oulton Park would be closest to you.
Worth joining the SIDC (if you aren't a member already) as they organise track days all over the country
