Default Donnington 11th April Open Pit Lane

Donnington Park

Yes it's true - we have a trackday at Donington on Saturday 11th April!

The details are exactly what you'd expect;
  • National circuit
  • 105dba noise limit
  • open pit lane
  • free instruction
  • Protyre tyre support,etc

The only difference is the price and time it runs; 2pm to 7pm, which means you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn ... Signing on is from 12pm so you get a full 5 hours driving.
The price is only £119

The trackday runs alongside the ISTS Show and all bookings will also recieve one free entry into the Show for the Driver, so if you want to arrive early (and nab one of the 10 garages we've been allocated) you can look round the Show too. Passengers will have to pay to enter the Show.

Trackday timetable:
  • 12:30 - Driver & passenger sign on
  • 13:30 - Briefing
  • 14:00 - Sighting laps and tracktime
  • 19:00 - Close

Places are limited and available to members of the SIDC, MLR and GTROC

If it weren't a weekend I'd have been there like a shot Drove Donny last year in a single seater, in the wet and it was brilliant.

You will be able to pay for additional drivers on the day £35 or Passengers £10

They will need to pay to enter the Show though

It depends what we agree when we decide to do the day
The 3 clubs decide on potential numbers and go with that
once one club runs out we talk to each other and possibly re allocate

These days are arranged for and by the SIDC/MLR/GTROC. Management on the day will be one of the 3 but you will find reps from the other 2

Hoping to get car back a week on Thursday or even Friday, (Gear Box!) so I can still go on Saturday.
Then get used to the car again so I'm ready for the Sprint Chanpionship the week after.

Can't wait now. Like a kid with 2 toy guns.

Anyone know if this is fully booked ?
I'm wanting to go but wont know until next wednesday if I can make it because of the car being in the garage for some extras.

Also will the tyre support sell track tyres as I've got a spare set of rims to use now.
