In order to mobilise as many English Scoobyfans as possible, we would like to have it organised during a weekend before a Bank Holiday in the UK.
I think the 4th of mai would be ideal, also perfect with the timing for the Scooby shootout and TOTB. What do you all think about that date?

Interested but confused! Instructeur lapping first sill vous plait, then a few laps unacompagnie would be nice = 80 Euros?

Any updates?
I advice you to clean the Subaru before coming. Approx. 10 (semi)prof photographers will be present to take the most beautiful shots and the TV crew of Rally-Action will be present to make an item for their show!

Pace Car Session
For those who have not yet experienced the sensations on a racing track. A pace-car will set the pace and increase speed as the session progresses. No overtaking is allowed during this session.
Think. Feel. Drive. At Francorchamps
A session created for the more experienced trackdrivers. Subaru fanatics which have visited trackdays before and knows the do’s and don’ts during a trackday can enter this session.
SWRT Level
This session is meant for the experts of the track. Subaru’s, especially built and tuned for mindblowing performances, will enter this session. Furthermore some authentic rally-Subaru’s from the Belgian championship will be attracted to enter this session.
Open Pitlane
After warming up and finding the good setup during the several AM sessions, the pitlane will be opened for all Subaru’s from 13h30 untill 17h30.

Een ganse week hebben we druk gezocht naar een oplossing voor de uitgesneeuwde Subaru Trackday. Jammer genoeg is er op Francorchamps meer dan alleen een GP Formule 1 en is de agenda nu al zo goed al volboekt. Dit heeft als gevolg dat de enige nieuwe datum die we misschien kunnen krijgen (dit is zelf niet 100% zeker): woensdag 29 oktober 2008.
Organisatorisch een moeilijke datum want niet iedereen kan zomaar verlof krijgen en met de meteo in het achterhoofd kan oktober ook heel slecht zijn. Tegenwoordig weet men nooit meer.
Daarom vrezen we dat de Subaru Trackday pas in 2009 écht zal plaatsvinden. Natuurlijk wordt iedereen terugbetaald, voor de gemaakte kosten vragen we echter een administratieve tegemoetkoming van 10 euro. We zijn druk aan het brainstormen over enkele kleinere projecten, indien jullie hiervoor interesse zouden hebben, laat gerust maar weten. Ik wil iedereen ook van harte bedanken voor alle mailtjes. Het was graag gedaan.

Une semaine entière nous avons chercher des solutions après l'annulation de la première édition du Subaru Trackday à Francorchamps. Malheureusement le circuit de Spa-Francorchamps est plus que seulement un GP de Formule 1 et le calendrier est déjà débordé d'évenements. De conséquense, la seule date qui reste peut-être (pour 70%) libre est le mercredi 29 octobre 2008.
Non seulement sur le plan d'organisation une date qui rend les choses presque impossible, mais aussi la météo en octobre n'est pas toujours favorable.
C'est pourquoi nous craignons que nous devons attendre jusqu'en 2009 pour la première édition du Subaru Trackday à Francorchamps. Bien sûr, les inscription serons rembourser les plus vite possible minus 10 euros pour les frais réalisés pendant les préparations du Trackday. Nous sommes occupé d'inventer d'autre initiatives pour 2008 et nous vous tiendront au courant. Je vous remercie pour tous les mails de soutien et les remerciements.

A week has passed and we have been searching for a solution for the cancelled Subaru Trackday at Francorchamps. Unfortunatly, the circuit of Francorchamps is more than only a GP Formule 1 and the calender is packed with automotive events. As a result, the only date left is wednesday october 29th and this date is not even 100% sure.
Not only from the organisation point of view, a date which does not make things easier, but also for the participants not the perfect date for a trackday abroad. Above that, weather conditions are not that ideal in october.
For this reason we are afraid the 2008 edition of the Subaru Trackday will have to be postponed untill 2009. Off course we will refund all participants, minus 10 euro for the costs made for the 2008 organisation. Currently we are brainstorming to organise some kind of other European Subaru event (on a smaller scale) and we will keep you updated. I would like to thank everybody for their emails of support this last week and I hope to see you all in 2009 at Francorchamps.
