It's not clear form the Page & Moy info I have whether that tour price of £129 includes a general admission race ticket... So you may have to spend at least another £35!
Otherwise it does include ferry/eutotunnel crossing, breakdown insurance, and a camping permit.
Paying more for hotel accomodation also gets you a parking permit for the circuit.
The list of peeps for my Stag-Do currently stands at 20! Might be a bit of a hit on my credit card when I make the order!!!

There is a really good site that has a lot of info on what is happening at Le Mans and confirms who will be going etc.

R 5C0DBY - We should have a C-Type in our group too! It's a nut & bolt replica, finished in Suede Green.
When you've sorted out your travel arrangements, let me know!
C-Types...
Our convoy is looking good: 2 Impreza MY99/00's, an MY01, a 22B, C-Type, TR7V8...

Steve - Excellent stuff.
I have to say, the organisation for a large group of people in different cars is a nightmare.
I think I've organised all the cars & people now. At last I can contact the agencies to get decent price quotes.
I'm currently planning a Portsmouth to Caen ferry crossing. Which for us means something like a total of 6 hours driving, with a decent break in the middle.
Can't wait!

Reidy, you might want to check out the Porsche Club of Great Britain Le Mans group.

We'll be waving at anything with a Union Jack, GB Sticker, etc.

Hi there,
I'm planning to go - hopefully with a few friends.
Squizz - Whitehouse is IMHO the best place to camp, usually lots of nice cars in their so the majority of other campers respect your car - not the case in all the other camp sites.

Maison Blanche = White house! DOH!
I simply didn't make the connection. So much for my O level French . It just seemd a name out of the blue...
"je suis tres bete" (there's a circumflex wotsit in there somewhere!)
Steve - Looks like my lot will be travelling over on Thursday. We'll have an early start from the Midlands to catch the 7.45am
ferry from Portsmouth.
Gives us a good chance of getting a half-decent camping pitch, and a chance to check out the open pit-lane on Friday.

Looks like our band of pirates will be camping down in Houx Annexe, which is the "Catch all" I believe?!?
C'est la vie.
I don't mind - I'm just going to go and enjoy everything, and learn from the experience. I'll then be better prepared for next year!

Hmmm... I'm sure our jolly-japes and adventures (avec pictures!) will make fine reading as an article in "True Grip".
Must remember to journal events as they happen.

I'll be there. Check out the link above. Houx Annexe is the place to be when camping. Take loads of fireworks and loo paper.
