Default 3 Feb Cadwell Park-Great Experience!

Just returned from Cadwell Park with Motorsport Vision...great experience!

Loved the track...constant motion and much altitude variation...kept things very busy.

The Subaru performed admirably...even hit 'The Mountain' enough to catch some air...after a few times, I elected to back off a moment to avoid wheel spin.

Even met a few fellow Subaru owners...great lot!

Recommend the track...will attempt to visit it again.

Hi Tim, I have booked to go to Cadwell with MSV on June 23 as a birthday present from my wife. Its an open pit lane evening, 4.30 till 7.00 .It will be my first time at Cadwell, I have never even been there to spectate. It is also my first time on track with the Impreza, so can you give me any tips? I thought I would try to get a passenger ride first to give me an idea of the correct lines.I have done a couple of track days before (10 + years ago) and I used to race karts so I am not a complete novice.
Thanks, Andy

Excellent!

Lines: They require 3-6 laps of Ducks and Drakes (follow the leader) so getting some pointers on where the apexes, etc will happen.

Might get a session of instruction...can pay dividends for understanding auto dynamics as well as the 'correct' lines although might not be available with the evening events.

The elevation changes adds quite another aspect to learning the course...a real thrill when you hit the track right.

Otherwise...have fun!

Sure enjoyed the layout...

Thanks for that Tim, ducks and drakes sounds like a good idea.I was thinking of doing around 5 laps at a time, then coming in to let everything cool down. I don't want to wreck my car as its my daily driver!
