Erm, either my calender is up the shoot or I'm being stupid, but 23rd October is Tuesday.

Next 23rd on a Sunday is in December

Oh, and can I have Hoppy Jnr on my team again?

According to True Grip page 6, AGM is on the 14th October. Which date is correct?

Krud,

it is definitely the 21st. Printers "forgot" to change the dates and some other bits and pieces from the draft copy

Expect a mailshot correcting the details ni the next week or so.

I have just renewed my SIDC membership and recieved the Sept copy of True grip.
I was interested in the AGM with karting to follow after at £25.00!
Now its before and increased to £40.00!!
What is occuring here. What is the correct date and what is the correct cost of the karting please?

Silver,

the details posted at the start of this thread are correct, due to printing errors in True Grip.

The karting event is now planned for three hours, and the price includes food now as well.

I thought the idea of not holding the AGM at a track day was to get away from racing. Oh well, time to attend an AGM.

To The Top

This thread's gone a little quiet. Is the karting still on? Who's going? How many teams? Can we pay on the day (as it's already Wednesday)?

Can you give us an update, Stef? (And I've mailed you, too. No need to reply to both!)

Cheers,

Richard.

Hoppy,

You can pay at the SIDC online shop and get put in a team on the day.

Regards

Yex - 2 edits for this amount of typing, lets hope my karting is better

Danny

Quite right.

If you aren't interested in the carting, you can just turn up for the AGM afterwards (starts approx 3:30-4:00pm).

Or if you get a group together, you can do Quad bikes, Honda Pilots, 4WD course, Clay pigeon shooting, Rally stage, Outdoor laser clays, Paintball, Indoor laser pistol shooting, Archery, Semi auto air pistols, Target catapults, Crossbows, Argocat, Golf driving, Assault course, Team building packages, Strategic games, Car treasure hunts, Fishing, Punting, Orienteering, Gun dog trials, Trial cars, Hover crafts, Helicopters, Hot air ballooning, Falconry, Theme parties, Knock out Olympic games, Inflatable games, Video games, Casino, Clear climb, Blood hound chase, Carriage driving, Blindfold 4 wheel drive, Husky trials, Fun fair rides, Scalextric, Auto testing, Axe Throwing, Horse Riding, Fire Engines, Combat Games, Sheepdog Trials, JCB Driving, Radio Control Cars and Pistol Shooting.

Or you could just walk around the car park looking at Imprezas

Hoppy

My team is booked

People wanting to do the carting should book their place at the club shop. Either arrange teams beforehand or let Stef sort you into a team on the day.

Pete,

Have I missed something or do you have a distinct advantage racing in "Carts" in your team? The real ones or the apple variety?

Rest assured your apple cart will be the first to be upset - ask your team leader Mutt....

There appear to be at least two of you that think you are team leader - which one of you is going to be Bobby Rahal and which one Niki Lauda (LAUDA, LAUDA - hehe - got that old joke in)

You speak for yourself, I've seen what you can do to a kart

Yex - can't believe I've got the kart wrecker and the red baron as teammates

Actually Craig, after Pete's exploits at Rye House last time, to be technically correct he now races a motorised unicycle.....
