I was just wondering what was everybody,s view of Trax2001?
This is mine for what it's worth
The meet was 10 out of 10 with loads of Scoobs. Brill
The Venue great stalls etc.
Track time ( Iam not having a go at Steff or Sivlerstone ) was CR4P, did any one get a good lap in? Porbably only the first car . It turned out to be a parade, which IMHO made it dangerous as people were more likely to do risky a overtaking manouver instead of planning one. People are queing to overtake who's going to give in, Then track etiquette out of the window dog eat dog senario
I'am not a track expert but have done 4 trackdays. I did not enjoy This one at all so I passed on my second session to a friend who'd only did 3/4 a lap in his only session.

Great day, great turnout on the Scoob stand.
Re tracktime, 2 15min sessions makes it different to a regular trackday. In the 2 experienced sessions the behaviour was very good generally, they even ran without stopping

my views on the day, missed the evo lads, thought the choice of trade stalls was poor, as was the catering. Compared to the previous weekend at the (silverstone) historic festival and other recent days out it seems that i wont be attending next years event as it appears to have gone stale very quickly.
liked the briefing, liked the fact Stef and co gave their track time to others, not sure about his bikini. I was out with Doc Jock and the manners etc were fine, folk even slowed down to let other folk lead, and show us how to broadside a silver scoob.

Ooh, that was me. Good job you saw it as I can't do it to order like Mr de Banke. I was convinced half a dozen people were about to run into me.

i had a good track session, 1st at 9am!
also i was in the second pace car group!
i've now done 4 track sessions, and i think the driving was poor, not everyone but some didn't listen to the guy in the briefin.
when on track i had no problem with ppl out there! i got by most and only Mellow in his P1 was pressin on mi tail so i let him go as soon as it was safe to do so, then i had the chance to follow his lines and had an even better track session. (he knows how to drive, well)
to be honest there were never ppl behind me to worry about being pushed to go faster than i wanted. don't know where every one went, it was like a millionaire's track 2 me! lol
wish i went out a few more times, but glad i didn't take to afternoon session that got cut short after 1 lap!

I wasn't being critical of the drivers in front of me because they were having the same problems as me. When the pack is bunched up and simular power cars it ends up follow the leader. I will probably go again just to be amongst all them lovely scoobs :
