Bummer !! Just booked tickets for the Autosport show on the 13th!!!

Not sure what to do, think I'll try and change them for the Sunday and do both...what a great weekend..!!

I've re-scheduled Autosport for the Sunday (you'll be fine for Donno now P!!)

What a fantastic weekend we're going to have.

By the way, if anyone had the track day ins. from Eggar Lawson, I've spoken to them and they are going to carry the policy over to the new date.

 

Could those SIDC members that have sent me a cheque for this event please confirm whether you can re-attend the new date, as I have not yet presented the cheques. Please note though that as with all SIDC bookings, if you are unable to attend refunds can only be given if your place is re-allocated.

I cant make the re-scheduled date (car in bodyshop ) but then again, I was due to pay you 'on the day' so no cheque or refund due, just a spare place.

Just spoke to Mark at Tyres Northampton. He's going to be there on this new date. Which is nice as I'll definitely be on canvas by the end. I presume if you'd ordered anything off him he'll bring them along, although you (or Stef for the group) might want to confirm this with him.

I only get so much licence & I reckon that a rarer venue (for me) such as Oulton Park will be better (use of licence) this time I'm sure there will be a Donno in the near future which I'll have to wangle.

Still looking forward to doing my first Donno tho'

I've just spoken to Donington to confirm arrangements (I booked direct), and apparently there are now 90 cars running in 3 sessions . I know if it's predominantly SIDC and we're all nice this may be changed on the day, but it's a bit of a bummer. I thought it was 70 cars when it was the 30th...

Yes you can come and watch for free. If you fancy blagging a passanger ride you will need to sign on and thats £10.

3 Sessions is a pit pooh but oh well its a track day I somehow doubt Dono will cancel the lunch break as they have said it before and it never happens to my kowledge.

If you are planning on going early ( 7 am ) a few of us meet up in Nottingham and drive down.

salsa king (Phil) usualy sorts details, you may be bored for the first couple of hours if spectating but there's always the car park to have a look at

When I rebooked today, they said it will be running from 9am to 4pm: I assume there's still some sort of briefing earlier on?

It will now be split into three 15 minute sessions. Guess that won't be a problem for me as I doubt standard brakes will last much more than 15 minutes at a time!!
