Track day at Donington

The good people at Donington Park have asked me whether or not you would be interested in doing a Track Day at Donington on the 30th of December.
The cost would be £85 and include as much track time as they can fit into daylight.
This could be an ideal opportunity to get together for a MAJOR social event (possibly in Redgate Bar?)All I need is ideas.
Please let me know by posting a reply as soon as possible.

Rob,
I'd also be interested, although I've never done a track day before so wouldnt be too keen about going off by myself. Will instructors be there to take us newbies round?

That was the date given to me by Vaughn the cicuit manager when I was at Donington last week. He said he was THINKING of running an event on that date, could I see how many Scoobs would be interested.
He may well have an alternative arranged in the week since that I don't know about, or the invitation you have is not a definite booking as yet either.
If everybody reads my original post again, they will see that I asked if anybody would be interested in doing the day, NOT that it was happening at all.
There will be instructors available, as usual, on the day to help those who have never been on track before; as well as being able to help those of you who THINK you know what you are doing
I will speak to Donington tomorrow to see if I can get a definitive answer.

John i have got the same letter too, i think they have made a mistake, on their website it states the 16th December.
PS:- Is your car fixed ?????, it will be good to see the beast back on top form.

Think i will go round this time in mine want to see + here what its like with the Zort & K&N fitted!! and i have spare 15" wheels to change to now! 4 track dayz.
Can some one e-mail me details of the day,
will it be a SIDC day???????? or open to all?
