Beds RSOC Track Day ......BOOK NOW
#2
Guys
I went to this trackday last year and it was absolutely awesome. Bedford is a great circuit with wide grassy runoff's and very little armco which makes it great for beginners and trackday virgins (me last year ). The day was professionally run and as Steve said the track never reached the max of 50 cars so i drove straight on everytime for a total of about 3 hours track time (could have had more if I wanted).
I thoroughly recommend it for anyone wanting to do a trackday. My cheque is already in the post.

Steve,
Well up for this mate but out in middle east at the moment, I can get the missus to send you a cheque but just wanted to make sure that there are still some slots? Can we sort out passenger passes on day or do you need the lot now?
Cheers
Ritchie.

We still have plenty of track spaces left, you will need to buy a passenger pass in advance, we are unable to take any money on the day and the numbers in the pits are limited.
cheers

I think I remember reading somewhere that you can go up to the track ahead of time and they will noise test you. Otherwise post in 'General' with the spec/mods of your car and I am sure you will be able to get a rough idea.
If all that fails or you think you might be over, I have a standard backbox for a classic I am trying to get rid of and i live in NW London.

The Bedford RSOC is a group of the main RS Owners Club, last year we decide to hold a track day for our members, we also opened it to all cars as it is great value and so many others wanted to come along.
So basically, all are welcome.
If you have any queries, just ask.

Mine's well louder than that DB limit
You'd think though with the majority of the exhausts on the market nowadays that DB limits might be a bit more...well...flexible?

Not trying to hijack the thread but I have a Digital Sound meter that i could measure peoples DB with (although it should be used a guide only as you get about +/- 2 db with different equipment).
Would just expect a drink for the effort. I am based in London (Wimbledon area) if anyone is interested drop me a PM

Good mix of cars last year and drivers of all abilities.
A few scoobs, bmw's, focus's, a ferrari, porsche GT2, MX-5 and a MK1 track prepped escort to name a few.
The Porsche was driven by someone who knew exactly what he was doing. He went past me like I was standing still

this is my birthday ... what a great present
ill be posting a cheque but first a couple of questions ....
1) as a trackday 'virgin' do i need a garage ? i guess thats for the wheel, oil, brake changes etc.... so is it ok just to turn up and drive as i arrive ?
2) Is there an 'area' for passengers additional drivers to wait with food+drinks etc...
3) Is there fuel on site ?
4) Is this just for scoobys ?
thanks for the help and see you all in Feb
