As per title, im organising a track day at Bruntingthorpe on April 10.

The day will be run on an Open Pit Lane basis, and will have a section of the track coned off (bottom left rectangle in pic above). this area will be used for 1/4mile runs, and genearl messing about for those who want to practise J-Turns, Doughnuts, Standing Starts etc...

The day will also include full hospitallity at a local Hotel to include lunch and beer (for the non drivers of course) etc.

Those requiring a hotel ovenight, please pm me so we can sort out a dicounted rate at a local hotel.

Track day cost: £200 per car. £20 for addtional driver.

oh forgot to mention the track will be booked exclusively for us.

have a handfull of P1s, a few M3s, Some WR1s, a Ferral 360, and possibly an AC Cobra making a guest appearance so far...

will be a very relaxed and enjoyable day out. great fun to be had by all...

Slight adjustments have to be made to either the Venue or the dates guys. sorry.

Unfortunately Vauxhall beat us to it in booking Bruntingthorpe for that date (10th April).

we have some alternatives though. we can do Bruntingthorpe on either 26th March (Saturday) or Easter Weekend 23rd April (Saturday).
Alternatively, we can get 10th April at Elvington Airfield in YORK (circa 2hrs drive from Midlands):



A Couple of the instructors helping me with this track day are goin up there tomorrow to check out local facilities etc... but the track is supposed to a lot smoother then Bruntingthorpe. Noise pollution wont be a problem either, it has no moaning neighbours for miles around (unlike Brunters and other circuits). you Blitz boys will be able to get your car singing full song around the track all day long

so could you guys please let me know what you would prefer to do now?

10th April, Elvington, York.

I'll se what can be arranged at Donnington, but that place is very unlikely unless we up the price.

15 April, Elvington.

Any takers? £200 all in. (discounted hotel accomodation can be aranged, these costs are seperate)
