Due to the weather, the SMACS have cancelled there run to the north. So, it looks like we'll be coming to this instead.
What time are you going John? We can convoy down if you like.
I wont be running, just spectating, and I have my digital camera and mount with me if anyone wants to record there run!
See you saturday,
chris.
ps, what time does it start?

piece of cake to find chris.

Just head for the m6 along the A556, go straight over the M6 and continue down the A556. Eventually you come to a junction with the A49 (10 miles roughly), turn left down the A49, over the first set of lights then turn left oposite the garden centre.

It's signposted from the A556.

CW, its on the way to where my boss lives, so lots of options to get there. Easy, esp with trusty Sat Nav!

Simon, I'm popping down too, but not running. New front discs haven't arrived, so I don't think I'd last too long I'll blag a ride if that's OK ?

Jim - spare wheels loaded up and ready if you need them

John, should I bring the camera - or are you not that committed yet ?

Did you have a good day today JF? It was a shame I didn't get out for a few laps in the RA- lets hope you still have it for the next one (or a worthy replacement)

Also massive thanks to Jim for taking me out for a few laps before the red flag

Cheers,
Simon.

Hi Simon, very good day, i love driving in the rain, it's a laugh.

I spent the morning mainly helping out on the rally car of Martin Fox, thats a very nice piece of kit and has a lot of potential still to be tapped.

I had to stop running just as the last red came out as the fuel light came on, 52 litres gone in 87 miles. (7.5MPG) Shame about the STi8.

why, what happened with the STi8? must have missed that.

i must admit the rain used to scare me sh*tless, but now prefer it to the dry, which can get a bit monotonous.

martins rally car looked great. did you manage to get to the bottom of the power issue?

thanks for welcoming me today guys, and to john for taking me out. Do you want me to post the video I shot john, maybe the last 2 laps of your run, as you caught the rally car, and we were about to overtake the firebreathing escort cossie!
Pity I couldn't run today, but even on the drive home, via the a54 congleton to buxton, and then down the cat & fiddle into macc, my brakes were beginning to fade!
See you all again soon,
chris

"on his roof" oh my god that's scary. I presume he slid off sideways and dug deep into the gravel?
