The SIDC are pleased to announce the first show of the year will be at The Fastshow - Santa Pod. www.thefastshow.com
Sunday March 28th
Admisson - Adult £15 Sunday (Weekend £20, that's if you want to camp over)
Under 11's free
Advanced Tickets can be purchased direct through Santa Pod - £12 Sunday (£17 weekend)Subject to Booking fee. Tel No. 01234 782828
RWYB - £12 for 3 runs down the strip Remeber all cars need to be road legal with MOT and Driving Licence (Both need to be brought with you)
Basically it is on the same basis as the Japanese show we attended in October 2003, except this time it won't all be Japanese cars there will be other marques there also.
I think the aim of the day is to see which car (marque) is the best.
And we know which one that is
Along with the RWYB there are :
v Car Club Stands
v Trade stands
v Comedy- acts (to be annouced)
v Show & Shine competition- classes to be announced by Santa Pod (Not SIDC)
v Pole dancers- free pole-dance shows!
v Traders- lists of traders to be announced by Santa pod
v Sideshows & Fun Fair- details to be announced
v Stunt Driver - Terry Grant
v Demo Vehicles- jet cars! Details to be announced
So it's pay on the day or book your own advanced tickets now.
We have secured a Club Stand area with a provision of 50 (We can add plenty more)
But as with the Japanese Show, Santa Pod are issuing out Car Passes.
So you require a car pass, without one you won't get onto the stand.(Some people found this out last year)
In order to save money (Putting it through the SIDC shop costs more than you think) could I ask everyone who would like to attend to send a SAE (Stamped Addressed Envelope) with your name and Address written on it to:
PO Box 5673
Southend on Sea
Essex
SS2 6WU
Deadline to get SAE's to me is 22nd March.
Please post below if you intend to go, so I can keep an eye on the numbers attending.

Thanks all for posting.

Tiny01 - That is correct, but hold on for a day cause we're unsure if the SIDC address is the correct one. Will let you know.

Tiny01 - Address is as above, slight confusion on my part.
Demondave- No problem I will reserve you 6 places, please confirm exact amounts when you know. Also if you send me 1 SAE i can post all passes to you for your distribution.

Just to stop early confusion.
Although I'm not sure it's happened yet, the car passes are per car and not per person. x1 car (with 3 people in)= x1 pass.
Just thought I would make that clear.
