Anyone else going to Evo mags beginners trackday at Brands?

It's £70 for 1/2 day on track "introduction".
I have booked it yesterday and there were no places left the afternoon session, only for the morning. Call them on 01953 888 789 for more info.

Looks like there may be a few of us there :-)

Should be a nice warm up for the SIDC day at Bedford the following week.

 

i'll be there in the morning, not a beginner but for £70 you cant argue, & they are a good warm up see you there, i'll be either in this

I have been told it is fully booked for both morning and afternoon.

So if anybody has to drop out for any reason I would like to do this Intro Course.

But maybe without the gold wheels depending on weather - golds have nice 'dry weather' tyres on them. Original 'gunmetal' tyres have nice 'wet weather' F1's on them...

I'll be in red BMW 5 series.

 

I have just checked with them and apparently it is going ahead despite the weather. I will call them again towards the end of the day to confirm.

Well the alternative for me is to take the wife's Seat Leon (1.4) to Brands...which kind of defeats the object really!

Think I'm still going to take the scoob to both, from the looks of the Brands day timetable, I'll only be able to give the car a 'shakedown' run anyway!

 

As the SIDC Bedford day has been postponed.
