Rallyday 2003 pictures...

Just a straw poll for those doing track sessions at the CC Rallyday on 16 August..
...interested in some piccies of you in action????
I'm happy to bring my camera and do the best I can (no promises, I'm an amateur), but I need to know in advance who to take pictures of. No obligation of course
Proofs would be on the web site on the Sunday morning. On receipt of cheque, will dispatch in a day or two - 6x4, 7x5, 9x6, 10x8 or even 15x10 prints, printed on a proper Fuji commercial printer. Very reasonable prices
There's some proofs of some of what I took at last year's Rallyday here - but I've got some new kit this year, so pics may be a bit better
Let me know via this thread if interested...and tell your mates - I'll even take pictures of non-Subarus on the track sessions

Ok, I'll be there...for the event - not due to the number of commissions mind
I'll take pics of any Scoobs on the track sessions and post them on the web somewhere (number plates deleted) - unless anyone wants to tell me not to do them (company cars, anyone?) now.
Noz - all OK thanks. Life's a bit boring with the Golf 150 TDi (fantastic mpg BTW), but the Clio Cup is a bit of fun and the Stag restoration is coming on nicely. Your red peril looks fantastic - I'd love a ride but am probably to scared to take it to tell the truth
See you Saturday...

Dont forget to visit the Craven Motor Club stand, Steve Flecks Sligo stages winning WRC Impreza, also his Gp A Impreza, plus Colin Mintons Gp N car and.....K44 LNX... a rare oppertunity to see the newly restored in full Elonex colours, British Rally Championship winning Richard Burns Legacy.
see you all there

Right...pictures posted here
The images are:
- roughly cropped and processed
- thumbnails (tiny) and proofs (smallish, watermarked and compressed)
- of the peeps that asked above, plus (I think) nearly all of the other Scoobs on the track sessions, plus a few other makes
- marked in a few places (dust on sensor) - but that will be cloned away and you'll never know it was there
-number plate blurred
Please feel free to browse. If you want any images removed (company cars?), let me know.
<mods - I guess this should be in the for sale section>
If you want to buy, they are £2.50 for a 7x5, £4.00 for a 9x6 and £1.00 P&P for any quantity. All orders will be re-processed from the original images and printed on a proper commercial Fuji printer - I'll batch the orders up, but will aim to deliver within 3-4 days of receiving any order. Email me at milleners@hotmail.com with any orders.
This is not a commercial deal - it's just a means of me recovering a bit of the cost for my photography kit. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the printed pictures
</mods - I guess this should be in the for sale section>
Finally...
- tell anyone else you know that was there
- let me know what you think of the pics (but note I didn't have a MEDIA jacket to stand in the best places, or the £5K or so lenses that the pros had today!)
..and I've just posted, here, some of my pics of Alistair and the 'display' cars being put through their paces. Enjoy

15x10 @ £12.50, P&P £1.50
..even larger on request!
I have to be careful with larger than 15x10 to make sure the actual image is good enough to print at those sizes. They will always look good from a normal viewing distance..
...but people always look (unreasonably) close and (unreasonably)say "that's not a very good picture".
To which I say "have you ever looked close up at a street corner billboard or the pictures on the side of buses? Every pixel there is about 1/16 across"
Which one(s) were you thinking of? I'll take a closer look at them
Regards
Martin

Don't understand - no one else seems to be having a problem
Just cut and paste exactly this into your browser (no capital letters anywhere):
http://www.milleners.eclipse.co.uk/cc2003
...if it still doesn't work, what exactly do you see??

6291 and 6291 would look really great at 15x10
6304 will be quite acceptable at 15x10, but not quite as good as the others - it needs quite a lot of cropping (as shown on the web), otherwise the cars look a bit lost.
You may want to continue discussion here, or by email (milleners@hotmail.com) - up to you. More than one 15x10 attracts a discount. You want even bigger as well - let me know
