Did anyone see the black Type R Civic crash on Sunday? I went over to have a look with the other hundred people or so but cant see how he lost it on that corner. Just being nosey but wondered what happened.

How the f*ck can you crash at Santa Pod?

 

We were stood on the grass bank opposite the grandstand seating right near the start. Heard a bang behind us, turned and saw lots of dust. Looked like he was driving from behind the start to go home and lost it somehow on the left bend before the long road to the exit. Hit loads of metal barriers and then a big concrete block. Front of his car was a wee bit bent!

 

we saw it on way out, think he had been havin a play on the field, was gettin ready to be towed away when we left.

Nothing a bit of T-Cut and elbow grease won't sort....
