Wink

Yeah, I'll try my best to get them on!

Got nearly all the way home on Saturday, and was in the middle of overtaking someone when my throttle cable snapped - just as well that I had plenty of momentum to finish the move!

Car is running fine now that the leads have been changed.

See ya soon

We had a bit of fun with Marco 'trying' out his car on the way home - he is well happy now - apparently did 13.033 at the Pod on Sunday

Cool

Easytrack have had it on their website for months now - Bookatrack have only just announced it.

And Easytrack are doing it for £119. Will send them an email about this.

Perhaps they sold Bookatrack their extra spaces, as it wasn't filling up quickly enough??

I think you'll find this situation now resolved if you check out the 2 websites, suffice to say that the trackday organiser that has a legitimate contract with Prestwold Hall still has the event listed.

Fooking hell - I've been signed up with Easytrack for bloody ages as well, now they are showing that I'm going to Bruntingthorpe!!

Can't bloody get hold of them either!!

I reckon they should transfer all our bookings over to Bookatrack at no extra cost

Tw@ts!

Alpina,

Having just had a scan at the terms and conditions, I think you've more chance of seeing snow in the sahara than getting transferred or your money back.

Funny thing is when I looked this morning it had been changed to Bedford, now it's Bruntingthorpe. Stone chip tastic !

Spoken to Easytrack at lunchtime - they reckon Prestwold Hall dropped them in favour of Bookatrack.

Reckon they will do full refund or can book us in for Brunters on the same day for £50.

Told them I want to have my booking trfd to Bookatrack, and that they should pay the extra £30! You never know - you dont get if you dont ask sort of thing.

As long as I at least get my money back, which they have offered me alreay, I'll then re book with Bookatrack.

What a mess eh?!!

Mike - do you have anything to do with either of these companies? Do you have anything to do with either of these companies?

Cheers Mike.

Are you doing any track days in the near future?

I'm booked into Croft for the track day during the RS show on Sunday July 6th. £85 for open pit lane.

Although that will probably be cancelled and taken over by the Lancer Register or something!!!

Having just done one last weekend, I need to give the car a rest for a bit, but undoubtedly I will be doing some trackdays in the near future. I'll just be making sure I know for certain the day will be where it says it is

Mebbe see you in the future

Yeah, no worries.

Just look out for a white Sapphire Cossie with blue zebra stripes splattered over it, and I'll not be too far away.

Alpina - have just received an email from Easytrack saying they have done me a full refund as I don't want to transfer to Brunters.

Were you given the reason why Prestwold Hall isn't going ahead? I was and tbh it stinks! Nothing to do with Easytrack, but put it one way, I will certainly never be taking my car to Prestwold Hall!!!

Hi,

I strongly suggest that you should be aware of the full story before making assumptions and decisions based on one side.

Prestwold Hall is a great venue and you're cutting of your nose by choosing to ignore the facts.

I wasn't going to post the full story publicly but if people continue to lie about the situation then I may be forced to.

I am not going to get into a flame war about this, but the reason given in my email, as allegedly quoted by the Circuit Manager at Prestwold - is nothing short of downright arrogance and highly insulting! I have no way of knowing if this is true and until anyone can prove different that he didn't say that, I will reserve my right not to go to Prestwold Hall!

Redkop,

Can we take this to e-mail or even phone? Jonny@BookaTrack.com or 0870 7441635. I'm sure the Circuit Manager at Prestwold Hall would love to hear what EzT have been saying about him. I'm also interested as it obviously has a direct effect on my business.

Suffice to say it sounds like sour grapes of the highest order. There is a very clear cut explanation for what's happened here.

redkop,

it appears both bookatrack and easytrack are taking bookings for Prestwold on the same day, and one is claiming that their booking is for exclusive use only.

I'd guess one of the 2 companies won't be there, so wanted to warn people. If my theory is right, those that book with the "wrong" company will be disappointed.

Unless Prestwold can run 2 different circuits on the same day!!

cheers,

greg
