Hi,
I went last Sunday and although there were only 20 or so cars on track it was great (to watch).
Couple of P1s were there and a Challenge 355 and a fantastic Lancia Stratos (replica?) - who care it looked superb.
I cannot make Donnon on Sunday as I am at the Curbourgh Sprint Circuit.
PS Have fun.
PPS It is always very cold and windy at Donno......

John,
have you got any pics of your camera(s) yet ???
Yesterday was sooooo much fun. I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever actually get on with our XTR2 on track. I was convinced I'd never have the ability to drive the thing at any near reasonable pace - but at last - its finally coming together .
Yesterday was the best time I've spent at dono in ages - a great group of friendly happy people on track:
Me, Craig and Mr Felstead in the XTR2
Redkop in her black Escort Cossie
Andy in his Black RS 500
My brother in is part complete 205 stage car
Mellow turns up with a Westi Cossie Turbo just for fun.
Special thanks to Dingy for help out with prepping the car on Saturday (and welding his **** into the passenger seat for the start of the afternoon session - I think he was enjoying it ).
Big thanks to all the people who stopped by to say hello, Shaun, Jase and Chez, Matt 'ringtaxi' Oz, ScoobyLou and the rest of you. And many of my non-scoobynet chums who got strapped into the 'victim' seat for some time on the track.
Roll on Easter monday.
Ian.

I got a good view of the XTR2 stationary on the grass (facing the wrong way) just after Mcleans as I went past... Apart from that it looked pretty impressive at times.
Anyone get any pics of me? Blue Scooby, standard spoiler on the back.

What a fab day!
Ian, Craig - what a very cool car! I'm really glad I came up, I've never experienced anything like it... my ears are still ringing! I wonder what you guys will be up to this summer?! It was great to meet you both, I've read so many of your posts on here, fantastic to be able to pop up and say hi!
Matt - good to see you again too, what a beast (the M5) Maybe see you at the ring in May, although in returning to student life money may not permit!
John - eagerly awaiting your "few words", vids and pics!

Nope, not me - I've got one of the classic shapes. There were two dark blue ones out there on track. Mine was the one with the standard mid-level spoiler and 7-spoke wheels. And a 'normal' number plate (X***ERB)

Did see the Carbon car on the track behind me a few times though.

You were going slow! I thought those Cossie's are supposed to be fast?! I passed you on the M1 as I think you were just about to turn off, I waved but you didn't see me! John turned off just before that 7 mile A road to the M1. Thanks for taking it easy on the way out.
Hope the work on the car goes to plan, I look forward to seeing the raging monster when it's done!
Lou
