A damn fine day with a damn fine turnout- wish there were more like this!
Anyone got any good photos or video?
I have some pretty good video and will post it on the scoobessential (www.scoobessential.com) site as soon as I get it converted to manageable file sizes (feeling slightly technically challenged after the 4am start this morning!
Cheers to all you guys (and gals) that made it special!

Lee: Was there another silver wagon there? As most people know I am Scottish and as for lead boots I was just in my steel toe capped brogues as usual. No posing in gloves, racing boots and overalls for me.
Modifications:STi ver 6 with Cosworth forged pistons and steel rods. modified oil pump,3"Revolution exhaust system, ceramic coated D/P and wrapped, tubular headers, ceramic coated and wrapped, lightened flywheel (slightly at 9.2kg) lightened pullies, modified cold air inlet tract and APS FMIC, 740cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump from Mark Aigan,Link ECU, A/F meter and Knock Link, expertly mapped by Bob Rawle B. R. Developments. 6 port boost solenoid (experimental, wizard piece of kit) racing clutch, standard suspension with Power Station bumpsteer and anti lift mod, 3.9 diffs (which work against good times for track use but give long legs on open road and motorways)6 pot AP Racing brakes, auxilliary SPA digital instrumentation and standard VF28 turbo which I am about to change.
Depending on whoose rolling road you use between 350 and 377bhp and 315 ft/lbs (bit like the watch Lee used to claim Mellows knackered Cossie was faster than P1)
Currently only use 6500rpm and 20psi but the car can go safely to 8000rpm and with bigger turbo and up to 24psi with the perfected 6port experimental boost solenoid.
Should make it a very fast motor.

A big thanks to my chauffers for the day: Dave, Steve, Mellow and Ian. Nice to sample four different makes of car round the same track, it lets you see the characteristics of each car. Great day.
