Hi peeps just after some info on my shocks, put my v5 sti type r in for mot last week.
She failed due to rear shocks, quite a lot of scale/rust on the top of the rears, with very light almost unnoticeable knock from rh rear.

Now my issue is these as far as I am aware are quite rare?
They are pink sit with pink springs and have adjustable ***** on the rears at the base ant tops in the tops. All original.

Being a factory option aim trying to keep her with all original options, I don't really want to go coilovers, any way I can have these rebuilt? Or search for some s/h if they exist?

sounds like you have the gymkhana set-up. Quite hard to get now.

 

Thanks for the replays, I can sort parts from Japan so mite be the direction to go, they are a great ride to be honest a bit hard but as I said I may have to go coilover for Mot.
