Default Replacing stock shocks, for the road.

Hi all,

lots of chat about coil overs on here, but not so much about regular dampers.

I think after 110k miles the shocks on my pretty much stock WRX bugeye might need changing...
the car is 100% road and my daily driver, so nothing too firm.
I guess if I get regular shock I can reuse my original springs as AFAIK springs dont 'ware' unless taken beyond load or stretch limits.
correct me if considered wisdom is to get a pair of XX?? springs.

so,
What is considered good value for money?? and where to get from?

I am pricing up getting Whiteline 22mm rear ARB, front+rear links, front anti lift bush at the same time..

Cheers

OK.. as I was going some digging.

KYB's appear to be in the right price range for me as it the daily drive Im after a complient feel not hash..

so whats the difference between KYB Ultras and KYBs 34s on the road??? its on a GDA bugeye wagon.

same stock springs will prob be used...
I am kind of tempted for the APEX lowering springs Camskill sell.. but wondering if that would kill the ride quality (Subaru ride quality, oxymoron!)

cheers
