Default blob eye rear shocks

Hi,
After googling and looking around I found quite a few stories where they managed to get numerous sets replaced by Subaru. Now my car is 10 years old but it is a common fault and a build quality problem. What are the chances of me getting it done?
Cheers
Michael

If not and I buy the KYB rear setup from scoobyclinic are these exactly the same set up as the fronts meaning I can leave the fronts on.

The KYB will "go" eventually too as they're the same design.

Coilovers or grease nipple mod are the only permanent fix.

just thought getting the KYB would last longer than the grease nipple thread idea but if not that's fine as I was / am getting the grease nipple done this week but was going to get KYBs if it would last longer rather than pay twice. One garage told me the grease would only last 12-18 months and then would need new shocks anyway, is that rubbish to get my business and to get new expensive coilovers fitted?
