Default D2 coilover adjustment query

The ones I have you can adjust from the top, haven't tried it yet though. I know you have to remove the rear seat to gain access to the rear struts but wondered what people set them too? And to make it softer you turn it anti clockwise?

my experience of coilovers is the adjustable damping does not make them softer, if it does it is hardly noticeable. and yes anticlockwise

The damping depends on the struts.

For example meisterR, has 32 clicks of ajustment, 20 clicks is great on track but hurts on the road, and 6 clicks is spot on for the road but a bit floaty on track.

The D2's i used to have responded very badly, if at all, to any change of damping.
