i want to know if MY 05 impreza engine subframe, can mount on classic impreza. Anyone tried it?

They fit on the GD for sure since it was originally designed off a GD crossmember (more potential GD buyers here in the US anyway). It will work with the GD sway bar mounts, GD arms, and the steering rack will fit up to the 2004 sti (need to make different brackets for the later model steering rack). The GC fitment is what's giving me trouble. The GC turbo crossmember main 4 mounting bolts are actually 1/4" further apart (lengthwise) than the GD...I didn't know that prior since people who swap GC's often use the GD crossmember. The stock crossmembers however have elongated holes that allow for a bit of slop in the mounting points that probably made up for this difference
