Looking for some help, I bought a set of Tein Super Street coilover off of a member on here to fit my 2007 Hawkeye STI.

The rear top mounts are damaged and the guy assured me that the standard subaru top mounts would fit straight on, so booked the car into a local subaru specialist who stripped my rear struts to try and fit the top mounts and said they dont fit.

Does anyone know if the standard tops can be amended to fit or were I could get a replacement set without waiting 4 weeks on them coming from Tein.

Hey scott its not always the case from what I know some of the scobbys top mounts can be fitted but your best bet is to get a set from Tein as they will be correct for the car, safes option for yourself and better for the car. If you decide on Teins get in touch and il get a price for you mate

I've already spoken to Tein Uk, they dont have any in the country so would have to order them in fron Japan which will take 4 weeks possibly longer and cost £190 assuming I don't get caught with import duty.

So would rather not wait that long or pay that, I bought these off of this site on the assurance from the seller that the standard top mounts would be a straight swap. The top mounts are going to cost nearly as much as the coilovers.

I'm just getting sick of this.
