Default silly question around hawkeye "clunk"

feel a bit stupid asking but this is what the forums for, i believe my 06 hawkeye has developed the dreading nosiey rear suspension, now i realise that over a large period time it will cause an issue, but short term ( so within say 12month 12,000 miles) will it cause a massive issue besides noise?
any info would be appreciated

Rhys

I've had the clunk on mine for 2 years, so unless I've been lucky I'd say that apart from being a bit irritating nothing else will happen.

Be careful re power oversteer. Before mine was fixed it had unpredictable handling when loaded up mid bend and would lurch into oversteer without warning or instigated by a bump forcing the shock to move.
