Strut to front hub bolts ???
Day off today, so i decided to fit my new front camber adjustment bolts. Didnt last long i couldnt release the 2 lower strut nuts, nearly bending my long bar !!!
What torque are they set at ? going to need an airgun on them.
Got a question. ? The bolts on the car are 14mm diameter. The top bolt is about 10mm longer than the bottom bolt and has like a thick washer say 3mm under the nut like a spacer, the bottom bolt has a lower strength bolt with the same nut that has a washer machined on it and a thinner bolt head washer than the top bolt.
Is that how all Scooby.s are ? It is the same on both sides. Are the top ones eccentric / adjuster bolts ?.

OEM bolts are 19mm (at least the head is). Top bolt is an eccentric cam bolt. Bottom bolt is standard.
Do not use aftermarket (14mm Ingalls/Eibach/Whiteline) in the upper hole. Only on the bottom if you have to. but you'll only need to run double camber bolts if you want to run in excess of -1.5 deg camber. But they can be finicky to set up properly.

Cheers mate. I have adjusted the standard ones today. i had way too much neg. The top bolt head had like D 1 stamped on it, is that just a manufacture stamp or camber info ?
Is the eccentric a sharp peak or a progressive offset smooth half a bolt type ??
