Default lowering springs for type r

hi,which springs should i use for lowering a 98 sti type r running oe shocks and 17x7.5j et53 sti bug alloys with 205/40/17 tyres.what brand springs and how much in mm to lower?

Your STi will be lowered a little as it is. Prodrive P1 springs are a good match with V5/6 struts and lower by 1" over standard. They will be a little softer than STi's too which are better suited for UK roads - give more 'float'

Depends if you favour performance over looks too as there are springs on the market which make your scooby look good, but handle terribly
