blob eye sti springs to bug eye?

I asked the same question before albeit blob STI to blob wrx and was told I'd need the STI topmounts for them to fit, as the STI has a different topmount?

Bug eyes have different rear top mounts compared to anything that came after necessitating a different spring type. The rear spigot of bug eye struts is also different to anything afterwards. If you want to use the newer springs on a bugeye, you'll need the newer rear tophats as well as use a spacer (google Scooby921 spacer) in order to use that hat on your bugeye struts (which include AGX's and DSpecs).
