i quote "i'd need a sports bra to be in the back of your car!" heh

so anyhow was thinkin to myself the last few days it does seem a bit "bouncy"

and after driving some work colleagues to another site they also mentioned it when i hadnt really talked about it

Yes it is very bouncy, crap OEM suspension. The answer is to fit coilovers

Crap STI suspension. As above, change it

The STi suspension is definitely the issue, although I have found that the front bounce is exacerbated by the front subframe which joins the front of the car to the middle of the car increasing the bouncy sensation. I have fitted a split subframe in two main sections, a front section and a middle section. By not connecting the two, the transference of bounce from the front of the car to the middle doesn't happen and as such the ride is considerably less sports bra'ry

Same cost really, I'd do coilovers first. I had a different plan in mind when I did the subframe, it was a bonus side effect

This is my sexy underbelly ...and wheels

Can also DIY the existing frame like so, although I'd not joint the front to middle like this fella has done

Notice the front has been modified and the rear welded
