help needed just fitted bc coilovers with pillowball top mounts myself 4 weeks ago everything fine
until yesterday a nocking noise started on o/s/f it sounded like a engine
mount broke but checked it out all ok so seems to be coming from top of
strut any ideas how to cure problem

 

have you checked the strut top nut to see if it has worked itself loose.had this with mine and the nut had just loosened slightly but it was enough to make it sound like an engine mount had broke.

 

check that the top nut on the strut, just below the adjuster is tight.
