Help - less roll and better stance
Hi All
I've searched through the forum and cant quite find any posts that completely answers my question, so here goes...
I've got a 52 plate bug eye wagon.
Ideally I would like to lower the suspension slightly just to give the car a better stance BUT at the same time I want to tackle the roll that the wagon gets when cornering.
I'm not after any super stiff or adjustable coilovers, its just a daily drive and I already have 2 weekend drive cars, so this car will never be raced, tracked etc. so i also dont want to be spending a lot on it.
So, what would you guys recommend? I'm happy with the ride the car currently has, just a little improvement would be so much better.
Thanks

Not a whole lot of wagon spring options for the bug eye wagon. I've had luck using Prodrive sedan springs since they have a bit of rake to them. I feel they lower a wee bit too much up front, but it looks fab and still better than STechs.
To control roll I would look into a set of Whiteline 22mm F/R adjustable swaybars and endlinks. Maybe 24mm rear if want more aggressive cornering response and a livelier rear end. I'd look into the swaybars/endlinks first. Best bang for the buck suspension modification.

lol, thanks for the translation! Did I just out myself as a non-Brit?
Further evidence: Bug-eye wagon with Prodrive springs, basking in California sun!
though one thing to consider is that even the Prodrive springs don't leave a lot of travel up front for the softish spring rate they use (ca. 175 lb). So it can get a little harsh on bumps especially as the km's pile on and they start to sag. The newer STi springs (with more travel) are all 04+ fitment. Ideally, I'd look at V7 STi take-off springs and use a rear "Saggy butt" spacer from www.paranoidfabrications.com
