Default EXE-TC Fast Road Damping Settings

Hello all,

When I first got my car the EXE-TC's where set to full soft. Drove about for a while and was happy with them like that.

Decided to try half way, thats 20 clicks from full soft. Seems to be the same, not 100% certain that its that different from full soft to be fair.

Anyone runnnig the EXE-TC's?

If so, what settings do you find good for fast road?

I am not sure what spring rates the springs are which I have currently on the car, all I do know is that I have a spare set in the cellar which are marked 250-40 and also 40-08, I have no idea what these number mean I'm afraid.

New tyres going on in a couple of days so I am hoping this will resolve my current tram lining issue.

Looking at the H&R website, it could be possible that the 250-40 printed on the spring is relating to the spring length and rate.

250 being the length, in mm, and the 40 being the rate in N/mm????

I have the EXE-TC Fast road coilovers fitted to my Spec C but retaining the oem top mounts.

I usually run them between 15-20 clicks from soft on the road. Maybe 25.
I can notice the difference between 15 and 20 but I have no other suspension mods... Everything else is standard.

Run 30-35+ on track.

Not sure what my spring rates are?

OK, what about running them softer on the rear or vice versa?

I tend to keep them the same...

Have a play with different settings.

What other chassis mods have you?
