mine have 32. I run 16 clicks half way on the front and full 32 hard on the rear... i find it just helps the rear stay out a bit more when cornering hard. on full soft setting the setup had a big tendency to understeer, it now stay allot more neutral

thanks.
i seem to recall that you need to turn them to the hardest setting first then count the clicks to adjust them.
is this correct?

doesn't matter really, either start from soft and click up or start from hard and click down.

as long as you start from one of the maximum points it's fine

ah cool...
it must have been on the teins i had on another car.
you had to always start from the hardest setting as there was no indication of when it reached its softest setting and further adjustment would cause damage!.

do you have uprated ARB's fitted out of interest?

Nope, although it would help my setup. Might be something I consider for sure

F:32 R:32
Springs are only 5:4 as its a Classic
Whiteline ARB's F+R (thickest ones they did) set on stiffest settings.
Pot holes and speed bumps are annoying, but being able to corner in the wet faster than I used to be able to corner in the dry is well worth it. (private test track of coarse)

ive just checked and the previous owner had them set 19 from hard on the back and 15 from hard on the front.

it handles nice but i feel its got a lot more potential.

its got 22mm F+R ARB's the rear being adjustable and set on the middle setting at current.
ive read for a good road set up with 22mm F+R the rear needs to be on the firmest setting, so ill be doing that next and see how it feels.

to put the bar on its firmest setting i effectively reduce the bar length right?.
so top hole?

cheers

got 6/5 springs on a newage sti, running 10 from full soft front and rear with a 22mm whiteline rear arb on middle setting.
This seems perfect for me.
Shorten the bar increases it's effective rate.
