Default How to identify Prodrive STi suspension for newage car??

Hi guys

just picked up 4 sti red shockers with red springs.

how would i check if this is the prodrive suspension with the slightly lower stance?

the red spprings have STi printed on them if that helps..

the standard suspension on the car is red with black springs.

i hope these are not the same height lol

anyway i can check they are the prodrive set? hopefully someone on here will have had their prodrive suspension off upon upgrade and could confirm.

cheers

p.s. can get a pic if that helps..

They'll be either the Prodrive springs or Eibach.

They are the standard dampers and STi springs. These are the STi aftermarket ones (hence being pink!) and not the same as the Prodrive springs which are red. There will be some STi part numbers on them somewhere and a check on google (other search engines are available....) should tell you what they are.

Another thing to check would be the part numbers on the dampers themselves as that will tell you what they were actually fitted to originally as not all STi (OE spec) dampers were the same

i take it the ride height will be the same as my current red shockers with black springs? no different?

would they be any benefit in switching to these? got a geometry setup coming next week..

Not sure to be honest. I depends on the spec of the springs as STi made quite a few.
