Default Vibration Under Power

Hi,

My 02 STi has a slight issue, when exiting a corner/roundabout under full power, I get a noticable vibration through the steering wheel (not wheelspin) - passengers cannot feel this, just me through the steering wheel.

Any ideas?

The car has these suspension mods....

BC Coilovers - Prodrive Alignment

Whiteline Drop Links all Round

Front/Rear Whiteline Anti-Roll Bars

Whileline Anti Lift Kit

Whiteline Steering Rack Bushes

Many thanks

Charlie

No play after jacking up and rocking wheel at "quarter to three" and "six o'clock"

Hmmmm

Any ideas guys?

Does the ALK transmit NVH that much I would notice it from my previous STi not fitted with it?

Uppipe on the steering rack I think. My dad's bugeye does this too. Seems to be quite common when you change certain exhaust parts on the bugeyes

Vibration or slower repeated jolting? Is it not the limited slip diffs doing their business? I don't know what diffs your model has to be honest but I would imagine it has one at the front and rear. Uneven tire pressures (circumferences) can make it worse on particular direction.

We have a plated diff on our 205 and thats horrible on tight corners (but works a treat).

Sorry just realised you weren't the OP and that sounds like a different issue...
