Default Fitting Droplinks

i have a 95 classic, have just bought some poly bushes for the front/rear so while at it will fit new poly drop links

the rear looks easy enough, the front tho, hmm

from what i can see,the original is these

yet the new ones are

the fronts being on the bottom right ???

so,i guess i supply my own bolts and replace, do they line up well enoguh going from the old style to these new styles ???

cheers

With the whiteline kit, I fitted, the bolts are included. Jack the car up and support on axle stands then use the jack to move the suspension to allow safe removal of the old dropo links then alignment of the holes on the new items.

Looks like you bought replacements for a car that has plastic front links originally. You'll probably find that you need the same size bolt hole on both sides of the front drop link. It might be easier to buy the correct ones that come with fitting kit.

The Classic could have plastic front links or ball jointed front links from the factory. Your picture shows the replacements for the plastic links.

These are the ones I use as replacement of the ball jointed links.

For road use: Whiteline Automotive - performance handling and suspension products. car spring coil shock damper swaybar sway bar anti-sway bush bushes australia australian whiteline automotive performance road holding turn-in camber caster toe in vehicle hot 4 v8

cheers,so the plastic solid ones can replace the balljoint type ?

but by the looks of those whiteline ones you need a spacer or 2 etc to get them to fit, wonder if the cheaper poly ones from flo flex come with spacers/bolts,only one way to find out, i`ll ask !

cheers

no m8 there totaly different , on the smaller hole end the width of the casting narrows down also the bush size and crush tube are different .
you would to uprate the bush ,and then the crush tube to 10mm then use longer bolts and spacers not worth the effort bud .
go get the right drop links klc 32 they will bolt right on
cheers geo
