Shocks ?
Hi, looking to get some KYB ultra sr struts for my 04 WRX wagon. They say on camskill not for wagon fitment but is this only down to the mounting point sizes ( ie the length of the plates). If so the lost camber could be got back with camber bolts.
Does anyone have these fitted, good reviews?
Cheers

i'm looking into changing suspension on my (classic) wagon at the mo. seems to be alot of confusion RE what will work and what won't. for a classic wagon i can put anyother classic suspension on, BUT the rear springs on the wagon are apparently longer and so when you gomto something designed for a saloon the rear end might end up a bit slammed... or sagging depending on how you look at it... but just to make things more complicated i read reports of people putting STi or the like shocks from a saloon on to a wagon and its fine. I suspect the same may applie to the new wagons too.
Sorry thats probably not much help lol! to be honest i would just call camskill tomorow and ask them what the deal is.
Regards
Ash

Hi cheers, yea its just the spacing on the plates, you will loose some neg camber but fitting saloon struts but it can be got back with camber bolts and or top mounts. Going to order them soon.
I have wrx springs on now and the rear is slightly lower but not that noticable. You could always make up some spacers to sort the difference.
