Question

Hello all,

New to forum, so please forgive my ignorance. I need to know whether the standard shocks for the WRX will fit on a Subaru Legacy Brighton (US Model). Can anyone help?

Thanks

Well I know of someone who put a Subaru legacy/liberty set of shocks onto a WRX with no problems so I would take it that they are resonably interchangable.

Thanks for the tip... :-)

Does anyone know of a manufacturer (3rd party or otherwise) that would have part numbers for this stuff. If the part numbers match, I am assuming it would be the same parts...

Also, are there any disadvanges to using WRX springs and struts on the legacy?

I'm just setting up a set of WRX coilovers on my Legacy - they fir straight on but I can't tell you how good they are yet because I'm awaiting new springs as the ones on them were ridiculously hard ones off an import!

The guy I ordered my springs from at Leda says for an upgrade the springs on the Legacy should be 350/250.

I'll let you know what these are like once I get them sorted. Bear in mind though that the Legacy is a heavier car than the Impreza so you may need harder springs than standard impreza ones possibly.
