Default bugeye suspension

hi all
need some help in choice of suspension for my 01 wrx
i cant go too mad as my missus drives it 90% of the time, i have a van and she uses my car!
i'm after something that wont be too hard coz if she hates it i'll never hear the end of it
even if someone has a set of rear shocks just for the timebeing as its all over the place and it will be easier for me to save up for the right stuff.
any help will be much appreciated!

BC coilovers, adjustable, so you can have some fun, and soften off for "her indoors".

What Dunx said. I have KYB AGX shocks and whiteline springs, but had I known about the BC coilovers when I changed that's the route I would have gone down. They seem to be valved just right for UK roads unlike some other coilovers and are a really good price

I agree, I was looking at the KGB AGX shocks with eibach springs. However this ended up being more than the BCs in the current group buy so BCs it is! Only heard good things but not had the pleasure yet as mine are on a boat somewhere!

Apex sells them at about £650 for a set retail, but they do have group buys on here that are worth checking out - Bren often does some awesome prices in these GBs

what you need is some low mileage sti suspension. And i just happen to have some
Front and rear STI struts with springs and topmounts complete
front and rear STI Anti roll bars with STI drop links
£350 the lot
All off my 2002 STI bug done 20k
All in excellent condition.
been removed to fit BC coilovers and whiteline ARBs droplinks ALK etc,
STi setup may not be as good as coilovers etc but would make a good upgrade to your WRX stuff and a lot cheaper and wont get you grief of the missus.
cheers

I got the teins as I wanted it low and stiff!

I've got a rear whiteline 22mm anti roll bar and solid rear drop links and a Hard Race Uprated wishbone bush set (silimar to the whiteline Anti Lift kit) for sale if your interested PM me.

I've just BC coilovers on mine with a load of other White Line goodies; I'm very impressed.
I opted for a slightly high spring rate than supplied as standard 6 and 5 instead of 5 and 4, front to rear respectively, and have had no issues about the ride quality.

Id stick to the shocks and spring route unless you want knocks and bangs on a daily basis.

Mine don't knock or bang they are just BETTER suited to smooth circuits than bumpy knackered British roads....
