tein basic coilovers
hey there looking at getting some basic tein coilovers and read a few posts saying they are extremly hard on road use!
also that a good mechanic setting them up can help any info please pm me many thanks frank

What year car, mate?
I have the Superstreets on my classic which are adjustable for ride height and damping force. You can make these surprisingly compliant (better than OEM over all but big bumps). Not sure if you can do that with the basics.
If they are adjustable, you need to be prepared to experiment with the settings. For example I found the rear ride height a little low on Tein's suggested settings.
Suspension is a very subjective thing and the only really valid way of seeing what a set up is like is to test it over the conditions that you experience most regularly! Even a stiff set up appears good on relatively smooth roads, afterall.
