Prodrive or standard ALIGNMENT settings, which one do you reckon?
I gave ELITE boys in Rainham Essex a buzz about some alignment settings. They can do the standard settings but for another £20 squid they offer Prodrive settings.
My Blob Rex Wagon has just got the standard suspension. I lost control a bit a few weeks ago during the icy days and so I may have ruffled the alignment a bit!!
Anyhow

Prodrive settings have been known to excessively wear the fronts. Price you pay for better traction I guess.
Elite set mine up somewhere between standard and fast road, (best of both worlds in my mind).
I’d take that price with a pinch of salt, my full geometry setup cost nearly £100….

Had mine set up by Apex tyres, Werrington, Peterborough, after I had fitted new KYB shocks with the original springs on my nearly standard UK MY97.
Cost £45 for whatever settings you want so why some people are charging extra for different settings I don't know, they are adjusting the same bits!
Checked rear camber was in spec but were happy to adjust if I provided the camber bolts. Rear toe set to standard.
At their suggestion set the front camber to maximum allowed negative (-30min each side) with maximum allowed toe in (7 min) making use of the manufacturers tolerences.
Included is a print out of the non adjustable secondary angles, caster/setback etc just to check all is well.
Results of new shocks and alignment are stunning, quick turn in, reduced understeer. Only downside is steering is SLIGHTLY heavier.

I concur, whatever settings they apply it should be the same cost. Robbing gits
These were the settings applied to mine....

Dunx has just had this applied to his and he is more than impressed

yup !
Wet weather grip on RE-070's is frightening, NO standing water though !
dunx
P.S. Added a fraction more toe on the front.... and 1.75 degrees of negative on the front. Maximum, on the rear.
