help plz is my shock foocked? on my classic
my car has bilstien sti ppp shocks and eibach springs but the drivers side rear sits lower by about 1 inch and i keep hearing a slight knocking from the rear of my car is this the shock foocked

I dont know why its sitting lower on that side but the knocking sound should just be either your top hat is loose or your strut needs to be lubed!! Dry struts is a very common problem on the STi. Goodluck

thats what i thought it shouldnt sit lower one side could it be the strut braces need ajusting as iv got one on the front and one on the rear? also the knocking happens when the roads are bumpey

I had this same problem on the front nearside of my STI, it was the top mount, got it replaced under warranty. You could mainly hear it on bumpy roads.
Suspension on the STI is a total joke IMO, How they can sell cars knowing that the parts are as useful as a chocolate fireguard god only knows, ive had french cars that are better built than Impreza's!
Im on my third set of rear shocks, the last lot have done 4k miles and are knakerd again, and car is now out of warranty so I wont be replacing with the crappy standard Subaru part
