Default Changing Standard Suspension

At the MOT the guy said the rear shocks were about had it. So figuring that the front has done the same amount of work as the back i might as well change both.
Is it best just to put standard shocks and springs back on or is now the time to upgrade. If so what to upgrade too for fairly comfortable road driving?
advice and suggestions would be most grateful

It would help to know what MY and model you had before giving advice, that way advice can be tailored to what you have rather than second guessing!

Depends on what you use the car for

I've had the PowerStation Type 25 upgrade fitted yesterday as I do a lot of track days. If I only used my car to go and from Tesco I would stick with OEM suspension.
