Default Should my rear droplinks be touching the bottom bar?

Fitted my powerflex rear alloy droplinks today, with arrows facing inward towards the middle of the car and pointing towards the front.

Been for a test run and all fine, BUT I noticed the main part of the new links touch the bottom bar they're mounted to and the old ones being slightly bigger, didn't.

Is this a problem?

The powerflex items are slightly more compact, but like I say, they're not knocking.
