Default will 2003 sti shocks & springs fit a 2003 wrx

As above guys , anybody know if they'll fit , i think they should do , the ones i've got coming have tein s tech lowering springs already fitted so it should be a case of changing the complete units over

If the STi ones are off the later cars (larger PCD on wheels and different front hub mounting) then no they will not fit, change over was at 2003MY, so some 02MY cars were registered in 2003.

01/02 STI parts will fit you car though.

2005 was the change over to the larger pcd.

Indeed, my bad I was thinking of the rear spring change date - DOH.

So yes they will fit.

I got sti struts and prodrive springs on mine and they do the job.

If you find the springs too low and hard, I have some stock 2003-> STi springs for sale!

Not answering the question but someone has recently fit newage STI suspension to their classic.

that would be me,been running a while now and no uneven tyre wear car sits at turbo height too,


sti shocks will fit a newage wrx(years depending of course ie pcd) with no issues straight swap over

got them today and will be fitting them tomorrow , i take it they'll need to settle before you see the real difference in ride height and handling ?

I would of thought that sti dampers and springs on a wrx would make the car ride higher.
The sti has an extra 60kg of gearbox to carry around?

HI,

I have just fitted sti red shocks to my MY00 classic and the ride hight at the back has increased so the car doesn't level.

I've fitted them on the advise of many people advising this can be done. Can anyone help here, haven't driven it far but doesn't look right.
