got d2 racing coilovers on my bug eye. just put new wheels on and wanna lower it bit more. got wot apperas to b coller near the bit that bolts to hub and wot looks like a smaller and larger collar under the spring...so question is to lower do i have to tighten the top collars or lossen then to lower.....gone blank and vcant remember,also is there a technique to moving the collars?

 

Says in the manual for the D2's not to lower the car by using the locking collars under the spring, instead it says to undo the two bolts at the bottom and rotate the whole lower mount after undoing that bottom collar. Then bolt it back up, re-torq and lock the collar off again.
