Morning All

I changed my springs the weekend on my Clio 172. Although i have a bit of a problem now, one of the two bolts holding the shock in place on one side is damaged.
In the end i had to cut it down about 5mm so that it would refit the nut where the thread was knackered.
Thankfully got home ok although obviously need to change this asap.

Is this a renault part?. Can they be found online anywhere?.

You can use any high tensile bolt of the correct diameter.

 

lovely, just got to try and find them.

i guessed that they are about a 12mm or 14mm. anyone know for sure?.

 

10mm or 12mm metric fine. I cant remember for sure bee a couple of years now.
You could use standard metric though dont need to be fine pitch.

A fasteners wholesalers wouldnt charge more than coppers for a bolt and nyloc nut
