Howdy all, I have a MY02 STi bugeye, and I'm wanting to fit a front and maybe a rear brace. On the good old fleabay you see loads for the classic shape, and quite a few for the blobeye models. I'm just wondering if the blobeye braces will fit my bugeye? Also how easy is it to fit the front and rear braces?

yeah bugs will fit blobs, all the same fitment, well mine went on ok anyway.

In all seriousness id spend the money on some droplinks and roll bars if you haven't already.

Rear strut can be a dog to fit, front one takes 10 mins tops.

 

Only real problem with the rear one is you have to remove the rear seats, fit the ends and then attach the brace. Still no more than an hours work.

 

I've got a bugeye STi titanium front brace in the office......I bought it used from SN a couple of years ago but never got round to fitting it.
