Whiteline Anti Roll Bar Help
I was just looking to buy a Whiteline rear anti roll bar for my MY02STi and didn't know whether to buy 22mm or 24mm. Automatically thought, "Yea, 24mm, stiffer, better, YEA!" but now I've done some reading about this using the SNET search, I'm not sure.
I dont rag the car, dont do track days (yet) but I do occasionally have the odd spirited sprint down B roads searching for the limit of grip.
I have already foolishly bought a 24mm front Whiteline anti roll bar (not fitted) and I'm now woundering if this was a mistake?
Not to worried about poly bush's and lock bolts just yet but will go for rear drop link withthe ARB. Whats better about the aluminium ones over the steel ones?
Can anybody advise on the above for me?
Thanks in advance.

I'm awake now!
22 Fr/ 24mm Rr is great, and for a 'gentle' up-grade 22 rear with a stock fromt bar will do you well. You will be back for more later...
Buy (or swop-back) a 22mm rear and steel drop links. The steel ones are cheaper, less bling and to me work better. Just look a bit agricultural compared to the alloy ones.
All easy to fit, use ALL the grease on the bushes.
Hope this helps.

Yea thats helps
I'll get myself a 24mm rear arb but to be honest, I'll probably try the 24mm front arb on the softest setting and see how it works. Do you think it will be ok. Is it a case that the rear should be stiffer than the front?
Cheers guys,

Thanks for that mate, I take it rear should always be harder?
I no nothing about handling, just how to get the best from that thing under the bonnet
I have ALK already fitted which may a noticable improvement and would like to loose the roll and feel more through the seat. May look into shocks and springs next as the rear are shot and the front a knocking also
Thanks for the advice all

The rear should be harder, but please note that it is how the car drives for you that matters.
Some like a little tail happy driving and some the opposite.
What suits me is not right for some.
Part of the fun is tuning it, and this is real easy at this level of mods. It gets much harder later on!
You must get the basics right and those suspension legs must be in good nick!
